My colleagues and I recently sent a signed letter to Governor Pritzker stating real concerns over the Chinese Company, Gotion building a EV battery plant in Manteno, Illinois. We need to sound the alarm on this backroom deal and let taxpayers know that they are providing $8 billion in economic incentives for the construction of this project. This does not support American innovation.
