House Bills Passed in The Capitol Weighed to The Left

This Friday is the 3rd reading deadline in the Illinois House of Representatives, which is the deadline for bills originating in the House to be voted on by the chamber and sent to the State Senate. Yesterday, a total of 63 bills passed through the House with 55 Democrat bills and just 8 Republican bills. Although some of the Democrat bills are good, these numbers are an example of the low percentage of bills the Speaker decides to call for a vote.
