The shocking announcement from John Deere, that they will conduct mass layoffs in Illinois and Iowa, is yet another sign that our state needs to do more to protect our businesses. We have to make Illinois a more business-friendly state in order to stay competitive and grow opportunities for our residents. We can’t afford to drive more job creators away.
