We were proud to host honorees from around the state for the Women to Watch recognition conference on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, in Springfield.
In its fourth year, Women to Watch was created to recognize the accomplishments of up-and-coming women leaders. Each year, legislators identify and invite rising stars from our districts to attend the conference, where we applaud their efforts, listen to their suggestions and provide them with a day full of empowering programming.
This year I was pleased to welcome two women from my district: Holly Klausing and Jenny Hanks. Holly works for Ameren as a business development executive and is a member of the Macoupin County Board. Jenny is a farmer with a drone business to monitor crops and provide spraying services to farmers.
