State Rep. Wayne Rosenthal welcomed the Pre-K Kindergarten class from the Teddy Bear Christian Child Development Center in Riverton to the Illinois State Capitol on Thursday. Teddy Bear Christian Child Development Center’s mission is to provide quality, Christ-centered childcare, programs and services, in a nurturing educationally oriented environment. They believe in partnering with families to help provide the best care and education for the children in the community.
“I enjoy showing off our state capitol and helping young people learn about their state government,” said Rep. Rosenthal. “These kids are like sponges soaking up information about democracy and experiencing the art and architecture of a beautiful building like our Capitol.”
