Rep. Rosenthal is Honored to be Sworn into the 104th General Assembly
Springfield, IL…Today, State Representative Wayne Rosenthal (R-Morrisonville) was officially sworn into the new 104th General Assembly. He is honored to serve the 108th House District and looks forward to continuing to help his constituents in his district. The 108th District includes Menard County and portions of Christian, Macoupin, Montgomery, and Sangamon Counties.
“I am grateful to represent the families, businesses and communities of the 108th District,” said Rosenthal. “Working for my constituents is my main responsibility and I remain committed to advocating for them through their issues and trying to bring better policies that will help enhance their livelihood. I look forward to working with my colleagues in the 104th General Assembly to craft solutions that address the needs of our communities.”
State Representative Wayne Rosenthal was first elected in 2010, resigned in 2015 to serve as the Director of the Illinois Department of Natural Resources until 2019. He was then reelected to the Illinois House of Representatives for the 108th District in 2022 where he remains going into 2025. Representative Rosenthal continues to advocate for small business growth, protecting family farms, property tax reform, transportation safety, and providing veterans with the services and benefits they deserve. Prior to public service, Rosenthal served our country for 30 years in the Illinois Air National Guard and United States Air Force. Now a retired Brigadier General, he continues working on his family farm. Rosenthal resides in Morrisonville with his wife Marcia. They have three sons and seven amazing grandchildren.
